What is a Christian?

A Christian according to the Bible is someone who answers the call of God the Father has been born from above through the Holy Spirit by God’s grace alone; through faith alone; in the historic Person Jesus Christ of Nazareth–Gods son–Who died for his sins. The book of Romans chapters 5 and 8 explain this in great detail.

Am I a Christian?

"Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you - unless, of course, you fail the test?"

Jesufrelse.dk exists to serve and glorify God the Father and the Lord Jesus, the Christ by proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom will be setup by God on earth and it will be ruled by Jesus the King of kings together with his followers. The Lord Jesus is central to the good news, by his death and resurrection he became God's only provision whereby sinners can be forgiven, redeemed and justified. Jesus Christ satisfied the righteous justice of God by paying the punishment for sin when he died as man's substitute. Any person who repents and receives the Lord Jesus Christ as saviour, believing the good news of the Kingdom, becomes a child of God and heirs to the Kingdom. Those who reject the Lord Jesus and the good news will not inherit the Kingdom of God, instead they will be punished for their sins and suffer the second death.

Since there are many who proclaim another Jesus and other good news, we are called to expose spiritual deception so that people will not be deceived about life's most critical question - "What must I do to be saved?"

"We preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God" (1 Cor 1:23-24).
